YET A LITTLE MORE ON THE LITTLE MOUSE

The Mouse thought he might try to talk to Kitty, as the conversation Kitty had had with Spot had not led to the kind of action that would be helpful to Little Red Riding Hood. In this new attempt, The Mouse thought he would try to get Kitty's full attention by speaking to him at mealtime, which is a very brave thing for any mouse to do.

"O great and powerful Kitty," began The Mouse, "there are terrible things being planned, and we need your magical powers to jinx them."

"First the Cheetah disturbs my rest, now you disturb my breakfast," snarled Kitty. "This better be bad."

"It could not be worse," The Mouse insisted, and told him that Pinocchio had been enlisted to help Little Head Lying Good and Grandma.
