Pinocchio has dutifully made his aching way to the doctor's office as Clarence suggested, to discuss his faux back injury. Luckily, the doctor has an excellent nurse who is quite clever at diagnosing ailments.
"Mr. Pinocchio? Please come in. I'm Nurse Martha and I'll just ask you a few questions before you see the doctor."
"Ow! My aching-a back!" cried Pinocchio, on cue.
"That's what we're going to take care of," she said, brightly. "Now, tell me what happened."
